On Saturday 15th August 2026, An-Naseeha Foundation hosted a special lecture entitled “Jerusalem: A Legacy Written in Faith”, delivered by Ustadh Adnan Rashid at Masjid Iman in Huddersfield.
The lecture took the audience on a fascinating journey through the rich and deeply significant history of Jerusalem, exploring its importance across the centuries and its unique place within the Islamic tradition.
Ustadh Adnan Rashid highlighted key historical events connected to the sacred city, drawing attention to the Prophets, rulers, scholars and communities who have shaped its story. The audience was reminded of Jerusalem’s profound spiritual significance and its connection to the faith and history of Muslims.
The lecture also helped place many well-known events into their wider historical context, giving attendees a greater appreciation of why Jerusalem has remained such an important city for Muslims throughout the generations.
